Scarlett Johansson In Her First Album

Actress Scarlett Johansson said Tom Waits gave the thumbs-up to her first album, which focuses on the characteristics of 10 songs written by the musician notoriously persnickety.

"Anywhere I Lay My Head" shall be published on May 20 by Atco/Rhino. David Bowie, who met some
Scarlett Johansson just before beginning work on the album, lends his distinctive voice to the track "Falling Down" and "Fannin 'street', while Yeah Yeah Yeahs guitarist Nick Zinner and members Group contribute throughout the celebration. The album was produced by Dave Sitek rock group New York TV On The Radio.

The album also has an original tune, "Song of Jo."
Scarlett Johansson said she originally planned to make an album of standards, but the project slowly transformed into a business dominated Waits. "His melodies are so beautiful and her voice is so distinct," she said at a press conference Tuesday.

"I sent him some of the early, early recordings, and he said:" Go ahead, "she added." I heard he is very happy. "

There are no plans for
Scarlett Johansson to perform live in support of the project, but she said she had to be intrigued by the "everybody together," perhaps at a festival at some point in the future. "That would be an opportunity not to be missed."
